The South Australian government has just introduced a feed scheme for small owners of photovoltaic cells.
It sounds good in principal but unlike overseas and now Canberra it only pays for exess electricity generated after home use has been deducted. This means only the owners of larger arrays con benefit at all.
Therefore the Government can crow about its green credentials with out having to pay out much money.
The two mail electricity generators have previously paid a surcharge on all electricity generate, but now have withdrawn this leaving people who can afford only a few panels with no incentive to do so.Of coarse they can still sell our electricity on the market at a fat profit.
